For years, the desktop has been the great forgotten area of home audio. Plastic computer speakers remain the norm in millions of setups, and real alternatives, such as studio monitors and HiFi systems, are too big, too expensive, or too complicated for someone who simply wants to listen well while working, playing, or creating from any space.
So, at VULKKANO, we believe your desk deserves sound that measures up. We present the VULKKANO DESK.
What is the VULKKANO DESK
The VULKKANO DESK is the first VULKKANO active speaker system specifically designed for the desktop. Compact, with dimensions of 10 × 15 × 16.5 cm, 50 W of RMS power, a minimalist design available in black and white, and connectivity designed so that everything works from the very first second.
The direct USB-C connection to your computer eliminates loose cables and adapters. Bluetooth allows you to connect your mobile without getting up. ARC connects the TV and ensures total control from the TV's own remote. And the SUB OUT output leaves the door open to expand the system with a subwoofer whenever you need it.
All this in a format that doesn't crowd the desk or distort the space's aesthetic. And with the angled stands included in the box (an accessory that other brands sell separately) in order to decouple vibrations and direct the sound straight toward the listener.
Who is the VULKKANO DESK for?
The DESK doesn't have just one type of buyer. It is one of those devices that works for very different profiles, and that is precisely one of its strengths.
If you work from home or in an office, the DESK is the most direct upgrade you can make to your setup. No drivers, no configuration, no cables to manage. You connect it via USB-C and start listening. The design is unobtrusive, and the sound improves any video call, work session, or background playlist.
If you take care of your desk, you know that every element counts. The DESK comes in black and white precisely to adapt to any aesthetic without disrupting the set of other elements that make up your space.
If you play on PC but don't want a gaming aesthetic, the DESK is the alternative you were looking for. No RGB, no colored plastics, no light bars. Just real sound, 50 W of power, and the option to add the SUB6 MKII or any other of our subwoofers to have a 2.1 system without complications when you want more bass.
What makes it different
There are desktop speakers in all price ranges. Why the DESK?
First, the price. At €89.99, it fills a gap that few brands address well: under €100 with careful design, solid materials, and real sound. The closest alternative in design costs significantly more.
Second, the stands. They come in the box. They are not an optional accessory or an extra from another model. They are there because they are part of the system, improving the sound image in the near field.
Third, connectivity in a speaker of this size and price is rare. You don't have to choose between connections; they are all there.
